# BuySure

> BuySure is a Shopify app for AI-powered package protection, claims, order tracking and returns. Merchants offer protection at checkout (BuySure Checkout), shoppers file claims on a branded claim page, BuySure AI reads the evidence, scores customer risk and resolves qualifying claims inside merchant-set rules, and every outcome (refund, replacement, store credit) is executed as a Shopify record. Built for Shopify and Shopify Plus merchants in the United States and worldwide.

## Key facts
- Platform: Shopify app plus a merchant web portal. Not insurance, not an insurance carrier or broker.
- Protection: BuySure Checkout, a cart offer priced as a percentage of the order, chosen by the shopper. One click to add, one to skip.
- Claim types: stuck in transit, damaged in transit, items stolen, missing items, wrong item fulfilled, quality issue, returned to sender.
- Claim window: claims open 7 days after the order and close 15 to 90 days after the order (default 30), set per store.
- Evidence: at least one photo or document is required (jpg, png, pdf, heic, heif).
- AI: reads evidence, checks the proof-of-delivery photo and scan, matches order and tracking, checks customer and address history, catches duplicates, assigns a risk score, drafts customer replies, works out refund and replacement amounts.
- Review paths: automated (AI approves low-risk claims under the merchant's limit), BuySure review (human reviewers), merchant review (the store decides). Rejections are never automatic.
- Resolutions: Shopify refund, Shopify replacement order, or store credit with an optional bonus of 0 to 100 percent.
- Stolen parcels: a waiting period after the delivery scan, delivery evidence pulled onto the claim, risk score decides the path.
- Returns: merchant rules, prepaid labels emailed, return tracked back, refund or exchange released on arrival.
- Tracking: branded order tracking page with live events from UPS, FedEx, USPS, DHL, Amazon, OnTrac, Canada Post, Purolator, Royal Mail, DPD, GLS, Australia Post, Evri, La Poste, PostNL, Canpar and Intelcom, with proof of delivery. Custom tracking portals on the merchant's domain are an add-on service.
- Rewards: cashback on protected orders (merchant share plus plan share) and a store-credit bonus, issued as Shopify discount codes.
